Annie Martin teamed up with partner Marie-Andrée Lessard in her second appearance at an Olympic Games in the sport of beach volleyball and finished in 19th place.
Martin and Lessard defeated the Canadian duo of Liz Maloney and Heather Bansley in a one- game qualifying match in Toronto to earn the right to represent Canada in London.
Domestically, Martin has five National Championships under her belt; three with Dumont (2002, 2003, and 2004), one with Kara Zakrezewski (2006) and one with her current partner Lessard (2009).
Martin previously competed at Athens 2004, finishing fifth with Guylaine Dumont.
