Hedley to headline block party presented by Molson Canadian
TORONTO – Toronto will host a summer sidewalk celebration in honour of the 2012 Canadian Olympic Team featuring multi-Platinum recording group Hedley, the Canadian Olympic Committee and Molson Coors announced today.
The Canadian Olympic Block Party, presented by Molson Canadian, rocks Maple Leaf Square in the heart of downtown Toronto from 12:30-3pm on June 28. Doors open at noon. Tickets to this all-ages event are free and available on a first come first serve basis starting Monday, June 4 at www.olympic.ca.
“It’s a great fit for us as Canada’s national brewer to play a part in sending off this year’s Canadian Olympic Team,” said Dave Perkins, President and Chief Executive Officer, Molson Coors Canada. “Our employees share the heightened sense of Canadian pride that goes along with watching Team Canada, and look forward to supporting our athletes throughout the Games.”

In addition to the concert and appearances by our Olympic heroes, festivities will include autograph signings with Olympians and Olympic hopefuls, as well as free giveaways and participation by a variety of official Canadian Olympic Team partners.
