Canadian talent served up for Olympic guests
LONDON, UK – The home away from home for the friends and family of Canada’s Olympic athletes will serve up some best-in-class talent throughout the Games’ window, the Canadian Olympic Committee announced today.
In addition to the culinary prowess of Chef Jean Soulard, the world-renowned Executive Chef at Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Quebec City, musical sensations The Canadian Tenors, and Quebec Music Super-star Marie-Mai will also entertain guests.
“Canadian talent is limitless, which is something we see across arts and culture, as well as sport,” said Marcel Aubut, President of the Canadian Olympic Committee. “We are very proud that Canada Olympic House will be hosting the remarkable talents of Chef Soulard, the Canadian Tenors and Marie-Mai during the Games. It is one more indication of the esteem with which we hold those in the wider Canadian Olympic Family, who give everything in support of their athletes.”
Chef Jean Soulard will be based out of Canada Olympic House between Wednesday July 25th and Wednesday, August 1st. The Canadian Tenors will perform at two invitation-only functions Friday July 27th and Sunday July 29th. Marie-Mai will perform at invitation-only events at Canada Olympic House on Monday July 30th and Thursday, August 2nd.
