Fans rally behind Bouchard after big win over Kerber

Eugenie Bouchard fans from all over – affectionately known as #GenieArmy – showed their support Wednesday after her victory against world No.2 Angelique Kerber in Rome. The Canadian also took questions from fans online through the tournament organizer following her victory with the hashtag #askBouchard where she talked Olympic mixed doubles among other topics.

The win on Wednesday was her second in as many days beating players in the top 25 of the WTA rankings. Her Tuesday win over Jelena Jankovic caught the attention of former world number one, Chris Evert.
Bouchard’s next opponent will by Barbora Strycova in the third round of the Italian Open.
