Donovan Bailey

Lesson description

Donovan Bailey was born in Jamaica, and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was twelve years old. His parents raised their children with strong values and work ethic. This upbringing had a significant impact on Donovan. His father taught him the importance of setting goals, remaining focused, and doing his best. He brought this same approach to his sports and raced to gold at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games.
