COC statement regarding Baptiste Brochu
PYEONGCHANG (February 15, 2018) – Snowboard cross athlete Baptiste Brochu will not compete at the 2018 PyeongChang Games after suffering an injury in training yesterday. Brochu landed awkwardly in training and suffered a bone bruise and a small crack in the tibial plateau. He was examined fully by Team Canada’s chief medical officer Dr. Bob McCormack and the decision was made in conjunction with Canada Snowboard’s medical staff.
