Milano Cortina 2026: Team Canada at the end of Day 13
MILAN (February 19, 2026) – Day 13 at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games has come to a close. Here’s what you need to know.

FREESTYLE SKIING
- The men’s freestyle skiing half pipe qualification has been rescheduled to February 20 at 10:30 a.m.
TEAM CANADA DAY 13 MOMENTS:
CURLING
- The Canadian men’s curling team will play in the gold medal match after defeating Norway in the semifinals 5-4. The team will face Great Britain on Day 15 (February 21).
- On the women’s side, Canada’s Team Homan defeated Korea 10-7 to advance to the playoffs. The team will compete in the semifinals on Day 14 (February 20) against Sweden. The winner of the two semifinal games will move on to play for gold.
FREESTYLE SKIING
- Cassie Sharpe (Comox, B.C.), Rachael Karker (Erin, Ont.), and Amy Fraser (Calgary, Alta.) have qualified for the women’s freeski half pipe final that will take place on Day 15 (February 21).
- Sharpe was injured on course during the women’s freestyle ski halfpipe qualification round. She is in stable condition and is being evaluated by COC and Freestyle Canada medical staff. The full statement can be found here.
HOCKEY
- Team Canada has captured silver in women’s hockey at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Canada has medalled in every Olympic Winter Games that has included women’s hockey, winning five gold and three silver.
