Andrew Longino
Biography
Andrew Longino is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026. He previously represented Team Canada at the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Winter Games where he won gold in ski halfpipe and was selected as Team Canada’s Closing Ceremony flag bearer.
Longino suffered a dislocation and crack in his shoulder in October 2021 when he crashed into the top of the halfpipe in pre-season training. He missed the entire 2021-22 season, including the opportunity to qualify for Beijing 2022.
He returned to the FIS World Cup circuit for the 2022-23 season, which also included his debut at the senior FIS World Championships. Longino earned his first World Cup podium in September 2024 when he finished third in ski halfpipe in Cardrona, New Zealand. He added another World Cup podium in December 2025 when he finished third in Copper Mountain, Colorado. He reached the final at the 2025 FIS World Championships, finishing ninth.
Longino made his FIS World Cup debut during the 2019-20 season. That season also saw him finish first in the Nor-Am Cup ski halfpipe standings after he earned his first victories on the circuit.

Getting into the Sport: Started freestyle park skiing at age 9… He grew up just 15 minutes away from Canada Olympic Park, so his mom would drop him off every day after school… Instantly fell in love with the feeling of learning new tricks… Grew up watching Canadian Olympian Noah Bowman and trying to imitate his skiing… Outside Interests: Studying Business at the University of Calgary… Enjoys playing music (plays guitar and sings) and will usually travel with his guitar… During the offseason likes to go camping around Alberta… Odds and Ends: Biggest superstition is to ‘knock on wood’ and has been known to knock his teammates’ heads for good luck…
