Aurélie Moisan

Biography

Aurelie Moisan is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

Moisan is a three-time world junior champion. She captured gold in both the parallel giant slalom (PGS) and parallel slalom (PSL) events at the 2024 FIS Junior World Championships. She won a second straight PGS gold in 2025.

Moisan debuted at the senior FIS World Championships in 2025, earning a 17th-place finish in PGS.

Moisan competed in her first FIS World Cup event in January 2023 at Blue Mountain, Ontario. She achieved a career-high in February 2025 when she finished fourth in PGS on home snow in Val St-Côme, Quebec. She reached the quarterfinals in a pair of World Cup PGS events in January 2026, placing seventh in Scuol, Switzerland and sixth in Bansko, Bulgaria.

Moisan began competing in Nor-Am Cup events in February 2022. She won back-to-back overall Nor-Am Cup titles in 2022-23 and 2023-24. In February 2025, she captured her 10th career Nor-Am Cup victory.

Getting into the Sport: Tried snowboarding at age 8 and began riding an alpine board at age 12… Her father, Normand Moisan, used to compete in alpine snowboarding and is now her coach… Loves the technical side of her sport and from the beginning has been hooked on trying to make perfect turns… Outside Interests: Enjoys playing tennis, hiking, cycling, spending time on the lake… Odds and Ends: Among her superstitions: never watch the rider before her, never touch trophies/medals unless she’s won them, some bib numbers are luckier than others…
