Ben Heldman

Biography

Ben Heldman is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

He was a double gold medallist in parallel giant slalom (PGS) and parallel slalom (PSL) at the 2022 FIS Junior World Championships, his fifth straight year competing at the world juniors. He debuted at the senior FIS World Championships in 2023. He was the top-ranked Canadian man in PGS at the 2025 World Championships, placing 19th.

Heldman made his FIS World Cup debut in February 2020 on home snow at Blue Mountain, Ontario. He had some breakout performances in early 2025, highlighted by his career-best World Cup result when he finished seventh in PGS at Val St-Côme in February.

Heldman began competing in Nor-Am Cup events in 2017. He posted his first victory on the circuit in February 2022 in Mont Tremblant.
