Cameron Spalding
Biography
Cameron Spalding is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
Spalding won the Crystal Globe as the overall FIS World Cup champion for men’s snowboard slopestyle in 2024-25 after winning two World Cup events in Cardrona and Laax during the season. Those were his first World Cup victories. He first stood on a World Cup podium when he finished third in slopestyle in Calgary in February 2023. He also finished third in slopestyle in Laax in January 2024. He made his World Cup debut in January 2022.
In 2022, Spalding became the world junior champion in men’s slopestyle. He followed up with a silver medal in slopestyle at the 2023 FIS Junior World Championships. Spalding also debuted at the senior FIS World Championships in 2023. He posted his best world championship result in 2025 when he finished sixth in slopestyle.
A Little More About Cameron
Getting into the Sport: Started snowboarding at age 3 because of his parents’ passion for snow sports… Entered his first competition at age 6… Attended Camp of Champions in Whistler when he was 7, introducing him to the larger snowboard scene… His family had a snowboard park on the hill in their backyard on which he could ride all winter… Outside Interests: Follows the NHL closely… Enjoys golf, wakeboarding, and dirt biking in the off season…
