Cole Zajanski

Biography

Cole Zajanski is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026 alongside longtime doubles partner Devin Wardrope.

Wardrope and Zajanski won a bronze medal as members of the Canadian relay team at the 2025 FIL World Championships in Whistler. They also produced their best world championship result in doubles, placing 12th. It was their third straight appearance at the senior worlds. In 2023 and 2024, their results ranked them fourth in the U23 division.

Wardrope and Zajanski began competing internationally together in 2019-20. They made their senior FIL World Cup debut in January 2020 in Altenberg, Germany. They began competing full time on the World Cup circuit in 2021-22 and narrowly missed out on qualifying for Beijing 2022. They did compete at the 2022 Junior World Championships together.

Wardrope and Zajanski started the 2022-23 season with a career best World Cup result, placing fourth in doubles in Whistler. They won gold at the 2024 America-Pacific Championships, also held in Whistler.  

Zajanski began competing internationally during the 2016-17 season in Youth World Cup events. He competed in singles at the 2020 FIL Junior World Championships.
