Biography

Kailey Allan is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026 alongside partner Beattie Podulsky. Together they will be part of Olympic history, competing in the inaugural women’s doubles luge event at the Olympic Winter Games.

Allan was previously part of Team Canada at the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games where she finished seventh in singles and was part of a fourth-place finish in the team relay.

Allan and Podulsky partnered up for the 2024-25 season. At the end of their first season together, they won bronze as members of the Canadian relay team at the 2025 FIL World Championships in Whistler. They finished eighth in women’s doubles, which was also good for the bronze medal in the U23 division. It was just their third competition together. Allan previously competed at the world championships in 2022 when she finished sixth in women’s doubles with Caitlin Nash.

Allan and Podulsky started the 2025-26 season with a career-best FIL World Cup result as they finished fifth in Winterberg, Germany.

Allan made her first international appearance in February 2019 at a FIL Junior World Cup event in Winterberg. She earned her first Junior World Cup victory in December 2019 when she won the women’s singles event in Igls, Austria. At the 2020 FIL Junior World Championships, she was part of a fifth-place finish in the team relay and finished 14th individually.

Allan entered her first senior FIL World Cup event in December 2021 in Sochi, Russia. At the 2022 Junior World Championships, she competed in both singles and doubles. She returned to the junior worlds in 2024 in women’s singles.

Allan won back-to-back national titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26.
