Juliette Pelchat

Biography

Juliette Pelchat is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

She was previously part of Team Canada at the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Pelchat made her FIS World Cup debut in October 2022. In December 2025, she achieved her career-best World Cup result, finishing fourth in big air in Steamboat. Her career-best World Cup result in slopestyle is a sixth-place finish in Calgary in February 2023.

Pelchat competed at the 2019 Canada Winter Games when she was just 14. She won a silver medal in slopestyle and finished fourth in halfpipe. She won the junior national title in 2019 and 2020.

A Little More about Juliette

Getting into the Sport: Started snowboarding at age 3… Her father, former pro snowboarder JF Pelchat, took her to the bunny hill to try snowboarding after her ski lessons… She thought she would be a pro skier until she saw one of her dad’s snowboard videos when she was 7 and never touched her skis again… Began competing at age 10… Odds and Ends: Inspired by Anna Gasser (two-time Olympic big air champion from Austria) and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (Beijing 2022 gold medallist in slopestyle and silver medallist in big air from New Zealand)…
