Getting into the Sport: Wanted to be a figure skater growing up before she had a growth spurt… Started playing volleyball in grade five… Chose volleyball over basketball at age 15 when she made Team Manitoba for both and decided she didn’t like the amount of running in a basketball practice… Outside Interests: Graduated from North Carolina State University in 2013 with a Bachelor in Communications…Odds and Ends: Always brings home samples of local cheeses from where she competes…
