Pascale Paradis
Biography
Pascale Paradis is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026. She was part of Team Canada at the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games.
Paradis made her international debut at the 2018 IBU Youth World Championships, highlighted by a sixth-place finish in the 10km individual event. She also competed at the youth worlds in 2021 before moving up to the IBU Junior World Championships in 2022. She competed in her first senior IBU World Championships in 2025.
Paradis debuted on the IBU World Cup circuit in 2024-25. At her first World Cup event, she set a career-high individually when she finished 34th in a 12.5km short individual race in Kontiolahti, Finland.
Paradis competed in collegiate cross-country skiing while attending the University of Alaska Anchorage. She reached the NCAA National Championships three times with the Seawolves. In 2022 she won silver in the junior women’s classic sprint at the US National Championships.

Getting into the Sport: Started cross-country skiing at age 6 and biathlon at age 9… Inspired by American cross-country skier Jessie Diggins because of her energy towards the sport and her passion for spreading awareness on climate change… Outside Interests: Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2024… Enjoys reading, being outdoors biking or camping… Was appointed an Integrity Ambassador with the Biathlon Integrity Unit in 2025… Odds and Ends: Always races in her lucky racing socks and a specific racing headband… Favourite quote: “The future depends on what you do today.” -Mahatma Ghandi
