Thomas Ciprick

Biography

Thomas Ciprick has represented Canada at multiple Diving Grand Prix competitions. His best result came when he finished fourth in the 3m springboard at a February 2020 stop in Rostock, Germany. He was just 16 years old.

He competed in his first Diving World Cup event in May 2021 and finished 16th in the 3m springboard at what was the official Olympic test event for Tokyo 2020.

Prior to making his international debut in 2019, Ciprick struggled with injuries for two years. He broke his wrist in September 2017 and upon his return to the pool in January 2018, he fractured a vertebra, causing him to miss the rest of the year. When he did come back to competition, he won two silver medals in the 1m and 3m springboard events at the 2019 Junior Pan American Championships.
