Donovan Bailey became one of Canada’s most iconic figures in sport when he set the 100m World Record at Atlanta 1996 with a time of 9.84, making him the worlds fastest man. Donovan took home two gold medals in the 100m and 4 x 100m relay events at Atlanta 1996 as well. Bailey is a two-time Olympian and member of both Canada’s Olympic Hall of Fame and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.
