Bid for 2015 Pan Am Games Takes to the Web

The official bid for the 2015 Pan American Games, a collective one by Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshoe area, now has a presence online. Anyone can stay informed about the latest developments in this important bid by visiting http://www.toronto2015.org.

The colourful site includes a news component, an updated blog, a feedback function and email updates for subscribers. Anyone can learn about the 2015 bid, support the bid and stay in tune with its progress – such as viewing the video used in the presentation to the Pan American Sports Organization in Acapulco on Oct. 10.

This bid has the full support of all three levels of government, a large number of municipalities outside Toronto and the entire Canadian sporting community. If successful, it would lead to a lasting sport legacy in Southern Ontario, where more than 8 million Canadians (and growing) live.

Toronto and the Greater Golden Horseshow are bidding against Lima, Peru and Bogota, Columbia for the honour of hosting the Pan Am Games seven years from now.
