Sportswriter Starkman remembered
TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Committees issued the following statement:
“On behalf of the Canadian Olympic Committee, we are deeply saddened by the news of Randy Starkman’s death. He was a tireless advocate for Canadian athletes. Randy made our athletes better through his passionate storytelling and his personal relationships with the athletes, coaches and everyone associated with the Canadian sport community. Our deepest condolences go out to Randy’s family, friends and colleagues.”
