Canadians To Catch
Today is the day for the defending gold-medallist Men’s 8 crew to deliver when it counts. The boat will hit the start line and fight to get on the London 2012 podium in the A Final. Rowing action gets underway at 5:30 a.m. EST.
In Cycling, Canadian icon and six-time Olympian Clara Hughes will roll into the individual women’s time trial at 7:30 a.m. EST, while teammate and Giro D’italia winner Ryder Hesdejal will do battle at 9:15 a.m. EST.
At the Aquatics Centre, synchro Diving partners Alexandre Despatie and Reuban Ross will compete in the 3m springboard. The event marks a fourth Olympic appearance for two-time silver medallist Despatie. They will step to the springboard at 10 a.m. EST.
At the pool, Brent Hayden will line up in the 100m freestyle swimming final at 3:17 p.m.
