Day 12: Humphries and Moyse defend gold, curling teams crush it

Day 12 TOP THREE:

Kaillie Humphries and Heather Moyse proved they’re still the best 2-man bobsleigh in the world, catching USA-1 on the final runs tonight. Humphries trailed American rival Elana Meyers by 0.23 after Tuesday. But the 28-year-old crushed the second day, making up all that time and then some. On the curling sheet, both of Canada’s teams advanced to the gold medal game, guaranteeing Canada two more medals. Finally, the Latvian men’s hockey team gave Canada a solid scare, pushing the maple leaf to the limit, before the Canucks would prevail 2-1.
