Day 14: Jacobs wins gold, ski cross goes 1-2 and Cournoyer surprises

Canada added four more medals to the count on Day 14, continuing a very strong 72 hours. Brad Jacobs’ rink came out and curled Great Britain into submission with a more than dominant performance in the gold medal game. Earlier in the day Marielle Thompson was magnificent, winning ladies’ ski cross to share the podium with silver medallist Kelsey Serwa. And Charle, (without the ‘s’), Cournoyer redeemed Canada in the short track 500m by racing to bronze. At the end of the night the men’s hockey team beat the US 1-0, securing a berth in Sunday’s final.
