10 photos from Toronto Yonge Street 10k
This story is part of an Olympic.ca series on running called Canada Runs
The annual Toronto Yonge Street 10k has finished for another year, with Olympian Eric Gillis and Rio 2016 hopeful Lanni Marchant winning the men’s and women’s races respectively.
About 7,000 people took part in the 10-kilometre race in which Gillis won with a time of 29:15 and Marchant crossed the tape at 31:48 at the Canada Running Series event. The Canadian Olympic Foundation once again sponsored a runner as it had for the previous CRS event.
