Maude Charron won a gold medal in weightlifting during her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020. But just months later, Maude’s 64kg event was removed from the Olympic program. This forced Maude to drop down a weight class, requiring many changes to her training regimen. She adapted with great focus and a positive spirit and soon won a bronze medal at the 2022 IWF World Championships and a silver medal at the 2023 Pan Am Games in her new weight class. During Paris 2024, Maude is ready to show the world the power of positivity.
