TEAM CANADA DAY -2 and -1 MOMENTS:
CURLING – MIXED DOUBLES
Brett Gallant (Chesterfield, Alta. / Charlottetown, PEI) and Jocelyn Peterman (Red Deer, Alta.) were the first Canadians to compete at Milano Cortina 2026. They defeated Team Czechia in the opening draw on Day -2.
- Gallant and Peterman now have three straight wins after defeating both Norway (6-3) and Italy (7-2) on Day -1.
- This is the first time the Italian twosome has lost a game in World or Olympic competition.
SNOWBOARD
Francis Jobin (Quebec City, Que.) has qualified for the men’s snowboard big air finals, which will take place on Day 1.
