Asia Hogan-Rochester

Biography

The 2019 Pan Am Games marks the first time Asia Hogan-Rochester will play at the national level with Canada’s women’s sevens senior squad. They got their start in rugby at 17, playing club with the Toronto Nomads. They then took their talents to York University where they played as wing and fullback, and was also on the track and field team, competing in the 60m and 300m events as well as the 4x200m relay. This talented multi-sport athlete has many accolades to be proud of at the development level, including being named Central Technical High School’s 2018 MVP in rugby and track and field. They also took home the women’s rugby rookie of the year award and the women’s track and field rookie of the year award for their accomplishments in the 2019 U Sports season.
