Britt Richardson

Biography

Britt Richardson is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

Richardson was part of the Canadian squad that captured bronze in the team parallel event at the 2023 FIS World Championships. She achieved her best individual world championship result in 2025 when she finished 10th in the giant slalom, ranking her as the top Canadian in the event.

Richardson won gold in the giant slalom at the 2024 FIS Junior World Championships. She was the first Canadian in eight years to be a world junior champion in an individual alpine skiing event. She had competed at two prior world junior championships, highlighted by a ninth-place finish in the giant slalom in 2022.

Richardson made her FIS World Cup debut in December 2021 in Soelden. She earned her first World Cup points in January 2022 when she finished 22nd in the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora. Her career-best result on the circuit came in January 2025 when she finished seventh in the giant slalom in Kronplatz. She returned to the top 10 in January 2026, placing ninth in the giant slalom in Špindlerův Mlýn. She had placed in the top 20 of every World Cup giant slalom race to that point of the 2025-26 season.

Richardson made her first international appearance on the Nor-Am Cup circuit in 2019. She is a six-time Nor-Am Cup winner and ranked second in the giant slalom standings in 2021-22 and 2022-23.
