Francis Jobin
Biography
Francis Jobin is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
Jobin has represented Canada at three FIS World Championships. After making his debut in 2017, he returned six years later in 2023 and competed again in 2025. Jobin was a bronze medallist in big air at the 2016 FIS Junior World Championships, his second straight appearance at the junior worlds.
Jobin made his FIS World Cup debut in February 2016. He broke into the top 10 for the first time in March 2018, finishing ninth in big air in Quebec City. He came close to his first World Cup podium when he placed fourth in a slopestyle event at Mammoth Mountain in February 2020, a result he matched in March 2021 (slopestyle in Silvaplana) and January 2024 (slopestyle in Laax). He finally earned his first World Cup podium and victory in February 2025 when he won a slopestyle event in Aspen.
Jobin won his first Winter X Games medal in 2025 when he took the gold medal in snowboard street style. He was invited to those X Games after winning the Street Style Pro Copper Mountain event in December 2024.
