Jade Rose
Biography
Jade Rose earned her first cap with the senior national team in a February 2021 match against Argentina at the inaugural SheBelieves Cup. She was also part of the SheBelieves Cup teams in 2023 and 2024, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the latter.
Rose was on the team that defeated Jamaica in the two-game Concacaf Olympic Playoff in September 2023, helping Canada secure its spot at Paris 2024. At the 2024 Concacaf Gold Cup, she helped Canada reach the semifinals.
At the 2018 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, Rose helped Canada to a best-ever fourth-place finish in the tournament. She also represented Canada at the 2022 FIFA U20 World Cup. She had helped Canada qualify for both of those tournaments with their bronze medal performances at the age group Concacaf Championships in 2018 and 2022.

Getting into the Sport: Started playing soccer at age 4… Spent three years on a boys team before returning to girls soccer at 14… Has wanted to play for Canada ever since watching the women’s team win bronze at London 2012… One of her biggest inspirations is former Canadian captain, Christine Sinclair, because of her leadership and ability to read the game… Outside Interests: Enjoys reading, listening to music, baking, hiking, being outdoors… Odds and Ends: Favourite motto: “Work hard in silence, let your success be your noise”…
