Kate Miller

Biography

Kate Miller was just 18 when she made her debut at the World Aquatics Championships in 2023. She teamed with Caeli McKay to finish eighth in the women’s 10m synchro event. She placed fifth in the non-Olympic mixed 10m synchro event with partner Nathan Zsombor-Murray. 

A few weeks later, Miller and McKay won 10m synchro silver at the World Aquatics Diving World Cup Super Final. That was just their third competition together. They had debuted as a duo at the World Cup in Montreal in early May 2023 where they finished fifth. 

Miller won gold at the 2022 World Junior Championships in the 3m synchro event with partner Sonya Palkhivala. Individually, she placed fourth in the 10m platform. Among her other junior successes are a 10m gold and 1m silver at the 2017 Junior Pan American Championships. 

A Little More About Kate

Getting into the Sport: Started diving at age 6; her mother decided to enroll her in lessons after she snuck onto the springboard at her local pool and tried to replicate a flip done by a lifeguard… Started diving off the 10m platform in 2019… Won all three of her events at the 2016 Junior Nationals… Outside Interests: Has verbally committed to the University of Southern California but is taking a gap year for 2023-24 to focus on training…
