Logan White

Biography

Logan White played with the junior national team at the 2010 Pan American Championships where Canada won the silver medal to qualify for the 2011 ISF Junior Women’s World Championship. She joined the senior national team in 2015. White played collegiately at Wayne State University where she started all 222 games of her four year career. She finished in the top five all-time in many categories, included stolen bases (second with 36) and batting average (third with .385). She was named to the All-Region Team in each of her last three seasons and competed in the NCAA DII World Series in 2014. As a senior she was the school’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year. White competed at the 2009 and 2013 Canada Games with Team Ontario, winning a silver medal in her first appearance.

Family: Parents Bill and Lori… Older sister Carlee… Outside Interests: Enjoys drawing, playing music, photography, making videos… Works as a media coordinator at Rising Stars and runs her own home décor website, Whiteout Studies, where she creates paintings and drawings for clients… Graduated from Wayne State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Media Arts and Studies)… Odds and Ends: Nickname: Log, Loggie… Good luck charm is her “Warrior” bracelet; at school her teammates all tied a knot in a piece of rope and made a bracelet signifying their support of one another… Favourite motto: “Run with it”…
