Nadia Moser
Biography
Nadia Moser is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026. She missed out on the chance to compete at Beijing 2022 after breaking her right fibula and injuring ankle ligaments in a toboggan accident in December 2021.
Moser has represented Canada at every IBU World Championships since 2020. She was part of back-to-back top eight finishes in the mixed relay in 2021 and 2023. She set a personal career-high in 2025 with a 31st-place showing in the sprint.
Moser made her first international appearance at the 2016 IBU Youth World Championships. She competed at three IBU Junior World Championships from 2017 to 2019. She narrowly missed out on the podium in 2019 with a fourth-place finish in the pursuit.
Her first international podium came when she won a sprint race at a 2018 IBU Cup in Obertilliach, Austria. She had been moved down from the World Cup team and though the win was unexpected, it was also inspiring, and a moment she looks back on as a reminder that she can do better than she sometimes thinks.
Moser joined the World Cup team fulltime for the 2019-20 season. In 2022-23, she broke into the top 30 individually for the first time, finishing 23rd in a pursuit race in Hochfilzen, Austria. She matched that result in a sprint race in Ruhpolding, Germany during the 2023-24 season. She achieved a new career best World Cup result in January 2026, finishing 19th in the sprint in Oberhof, Germany.
