Pascal Lussier
Biography
Pascal Lussier has enjoyed a quick progression to his rowing career since picking up the sport in 2012. One year later he was named to Rowing Canada’s U23 world championship team, finishing 12th in the double sculls. He advanced to the World Cup team in 2014, winning a bronze medal in the quad sculls at the stop in Aiguebelette, France. Later that year he made his senior world championship debut, finishing seventh in the quad sculls. In 2015, Lussier won bronze in the double sculls with teammate Matthew Buie at the Pan Am Games in Toronto. He then raced in the single sculls at the world championships. In 2016, he moved back into the quad sculls and was part of the crew that won World Cup silver in Varese, Italy before qualifying the boat for Rio 2016.
