Yohan Eskrick-Parkinson

Biography

Yohan Eskrick-Parkinson is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

Eskrick-Parkinson competed in his first IBSF World Championships in 2025, placing 15th in the four-man event with pilot Pat Norton.

Eskrick-Parkinson stood atop the podium in the first two races of his career, winning North American Cup four-man events with pilot Taylor Austin in Whistler in November 2024 just a few months after he first tried bobsleigh. The first victory also made them Pan American champions.

He then made his IBSF World Cup debut in January 2025, with the bulk of his race experience coming in the four-man event. His best World Cup result came in December 2025 when he finished seventh in Austin’s four-man sled in Lillehammer.

Bobsleigh was not Eskrick-Parkinson’s first foray into high-level competition, as he transitioned to the sport after a successful diving career. He competed at the 2017 Canada Summer Games, represented Northwestern University at the Big Ten Championships, and then took the chance to represent Jamaica internationally. He competed at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games as well as the 2023 and 2024 World Aquatics Championships.
