Canada defeats Austria 6-0 in preliminary round action

Team Canada has beaten Austria 6-0 in their second game of the Olympic tournament.

Jeff Carter had a hat trick and Roberto Luongo registered the shut-out as Canada improved to 2-0.

The game was never in doubt, with the Canadians in their black jerseys directing 46 shots at Austrian starter Berhard Starkbaum and then backup Mathias Lange.
