#OlympicBuzz : When Olympians celebrate

Our Olympians traveled across the country this week for Celebration of Excellence, inspiring and celebrating these amazing moments we all remember from Sochi 2014. Their experience was shared with us via social media, here’s a recap:

Our athletes inspired thousands of young fans by visiting different schools and hospitals across the country:

Patrick Chan knows how to skate but he also became pro at taking selfies:

Obviously, it’s just impossible to keep calm when you’re around Olympians.

Either they’ll give you tips to get the most out of your training:

… or they might just start a random music band:

.. or they’ll teach our SuperFan contest winner how to use a bobsleigh:

… or they will just dance, basically anywhere:

Is there any way to be more Canadian than by making a human totem in front of Ottawa’s parliament? I doubt it.

They were honored at the House of Commons with a standing ovation:

Friday, everyone was in party mode for Parade of Champions:

The Hall of Fame gala was the perfect end to this amazing week:

Athletes were all looking super glamorous :

And Chandra Crawford showed us that her talents go way beyond sport in this video:

Richard Garneau (1930-2013), a french sports journalist who covered no less than 23 Olympic Games, was also honoured at the Hall of Fame:

After this busy and fulfilling week, our Olympians are going home with great memories :

A special ring meant to keep them united as part of Sochi 2014 Canadian Olympic Team:

And a few pictures from the photobooth, a classic:

Already looking forward to 2018!
