In 2026, Italy will host the XXV Olympic Winter Games in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Milan will be a first-time host of the Olympic Games, after previously bidding for the Games of 1908 (which went to London) and 2000 (which went to Sydney). Cortina d’Ampezzo successfully hosted the 1956 Olympic Winter Games.
