Bianca Ribi is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026 as a pilot in two-woman bobsleigh.

Ribi has competed in three straight IBSF World Championships as a pilot. She recorded her best monobob result in 2023 when she finished ninth. Her best two-woman result came in 2024 when she finished ninth with brakewoman Niamh Haughey. Ribi also drove at the 2021 IBSF Junior World Championships, placing ninth in two-woman with Haughey.  She had previously competed at the senior world championships in 2019 as a brakewoman in the team event.

Ribi’s first IBSF World Cup race as a pilot was one to remember as she won the women’s monobob event in Whistler in November 2022. During the 2022-23 season, she earned three top five finishes in two-woman events, highlighted by a fourth-place finish with Haughey in Lake Placid. She was back on the World Cup circuit in 2023-24, earning four top 10 finishes, two each in monobob and two-woman.

Ribi split the next two seasons between the World Cup and North American Cup circuits. She dominated North American Cup races in 2025-26, winning 11 and finishing second in the other three.

Ribi grew up playing soccer and was a member of the national training program. She played collegiately at Dartmouth College where she was named captain of the varsity team as a senior.
