Rachelle Brown
Biography
Rachelle Brown is a two-time world champion as the alternate/fifth on Team Homan.
She was with the team—which includes skip Rachel Homan, third Tracy Fleury, second Emma Miskew, and lead Sarah Wilkes—as they won back-to-back national titles and world titles in 2024 and 2025. She was also their alternate as they won gold in 2024 and silver in 2025 at the Pan Continental Curling Championships.
Brown made her world championship debut in 2019 as the lead on Team Chelsea Carey. They had won the Tournament of Hearts after going 9-2 during pool play and went on to defeat Team Homan in the final.
Brown competed at the Tournament of Hearts for the first time in 2014 as the lead for Team Val Sweeting. They were the runners-up for the national title in both 2014 and 2015. She competed at the Canadian Curling Trials in 2013 and 2017 with Team Sweeting and in 2021 with Team Kelsey Rocque.
She played on the University of Alberta varsity curling team for four years.
