Tracy Fleury

Biography

Tracy Fleury is a two-time world champion as the third/vice-skip on Team Homan.

Fleury joined the team—which includes skip Rachel Homan, second Emma Miskew, and lead Sarah Wilkes—for the 2022-23 season. In their first year together, Fleury was named as skip but threw third stones while Homan threw fourth stones. They represented Ontario at the Tournament of Hearts where they were eliminated in the semifinals of the championship round.

The next season, Fleury took on regular third duties while Homan became skip. Throughout 2023-24 and 2024-25, the team was a dominant force, winning a total of 142 games against just 15 losses. They won back-to-back national titles and back-to-back world titles. It was the first time in Fleury’s career that she had won the Tournament of Hearts to qualify for the world championships. They were the first Canadian women’s foursome to win two straight world championship gold medals since 1993-1994.

Early in her career, Fleury had been a skip, including her last two years as a junior in 2006 and 2007. She competed at her first Tournament of Hearts in 2012 after upsetting an undefeated Homan in the Ontario provincial final.

For the 2018-19 season, Fleury began skipping a team based out of Manitoba but maintained her residence in Sudbury. They entered the 2021 Canadian Curling Trials as the top-ranked women’s team and went undefeated through the round robin. In the final, Fleury had the hammer in the 11th and a shot to win the Olympic spot but hit the guard and gave up the steal to Team Jennifer Jones.
