LA Relay Champs

August 7, 1932: Canada wins bronze in the men’s 4x400m relay at the Games of the X Olympiad in Los Angeles.  It was the third of three bronze medals won by Phil Edwards at those Games, who would end his Olympic career with five bronze medals.  Edwards is the only Olympian to win five bronze medals in athletics and no other medals.  He is also Canada’s most decorated male summer Olympian.  Edwards’ teammates in the event were Raymond Lewis,James Ball and Alexander Wilson.
