Odds are that if you’re Canadian, then you probably have a special place in your heart for hockey.

On Thursday, Hockey Canada celebrated its 100th anniversary. Over the last century, there have been some particularly inspiring goals that will never be forgotten.

Being able to wear the Maple Leaf on the front of your jersey is a huge honour that these athletes cherish. Whether it’s at the World Junior Championship, the annual World Championship, the Olympics or all of the above, the players leave it all on the ice in search of glory for the Great White North.
