Biography

  • Swimming Canada’s Female Junior Swimmer of the Year in 2019 
  • Made her debut at the World Aquatics Championships in 2019, finishing 12th in the 400m freestyle and 17th in the 1500m freestyle; at 16 years old was the youngest member of the Canadian team   
  • Swam the preliminary heat for the women’s 4x200m freestyle relay that captured bronze at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships 
  • Won three medals at the 2019 World Junior Swimming Championships: 400m freestyle silver, 200m freestyle bronze, 4x200m freestyle relay bronze 
  • First represented Canada internationally at the 2018 Junior Pan Pacific Championships; won bronze in the 1500m freestyle 
  • Finished third in the 400m freestyle at the 2021 Canadian Swimming Trials 
  • Competes collegiately for the UBC Thunderbirds
  • Named USPORTS Female Rookie of the Year in 2022
  • Won four gold medals at the 2022 USPORTS Swimming Championships: 400m freestyle, 800m freestyle, 4×100m medley relay, 4×200m freestyle relay); also captured two silver medals (200m freestyle, 4x100m freestyle relay)
  • Won four gold medals at the 2023 USPORTS Swimming Championships: 200m freestyle, 400m freestyle, 800m freestyle, 4x200m freestyle relay; also won 100m freestyle bronze and silvers in the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m medley relays
