Gavin Rowell
Biography
Gavin Rowell is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
Rowell made his FIS World Cup debut in January 2019. Two months later, he won silver in men’s ski cross at the 2019 FIS Junior World Championships.
Rowell advanced to his first small final on the World Cup circuit in December 2023 in Arosa. He recorded his career best World Cup result in March 2024 when he won the small final in Idre Fjäll to finish fifth overall. He was also a small finalist in March 2025 on home snow in Craigleith, Ontario where he finished sixth. That came just ahead of his debut at the senior FIS World Championships.
Rowell was the overall Nor-Am Cup champion for ski cross in 2018-19. He finished second overall on the circuit in 2019-20. He has five career Nor-Am Cup victories. He began competing in Nor-Am Cup events in 2016.
