Week of June 9-15

1. Summer bobsleigh

That’s what Olympic champion Marielle Thompson was up to for her 22nd birthday this week. Best wishes to you, Marielle! Another year just flew by, and what a great one it was for you!

2. Winter may be over…

…but training never is. The countdown to next competition season is already on for the skiing team:

3. For Kirsten Moore-Towers and her new partner,

nothing beats a nicepaddle-boarding session under the hot rays before going back to the ice.

4. Speed skaters hopped on their bikes to support the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie.

And for Charles Hamelin, François Hamelin and Olivier Jean, it was probably an easy ride all the way.

5. Steve Nash is ready for the soccer World Cup!

6. For Arianne Jones, there’s nothing like a round of golf to let off steam.

And she won’t be intimidated by anyone, no matter how big her opponent is.
