Derek Drouin won bronze in the high jump event at the London 2012 Games after clearing the 2.29m mark to finish in a three-way tie for third. Competing in his first Olympic Games, the native of Corunna, Ontario captured Canada’s first high jumping medal since Greg Joy won silver at the 1976 Games in Montreal.
